Like matcha, our Hojicha is offered in powdered form for whisking, delivering a richer flavor and texture as you consume the entire leaf. Unlike traditional green teas, which are simply steamed to preserve their fresh, vegetal character, Hojicha undergoes an additional pan-firing process that imparts a toasty, cocoa-like flavor.
